※ Optical Fiber Collimator Descriptions

AIMLASER provides the aspheric fiber collimator designed to collimate or focus light emitted from FC/APC, FC/PC, or SMA905 fiber connectors. The aspheric lens introduces chromatic dispersion, and its effective focal length (EFL) varies with wavelength. At the design wavelength, it provides diffraction-limited performance with excellent spherical aberration correction, making it suitable for simple fiber coupling applications.

The compact design uses a molded aspheric lens with double-sided anti-reflection (AR) coatings on both surfaces to minimize reflection losses. For the FC/APC version, the angled connector ensures the output beam enters the collimator perpendicular to the focal plane.

The aspheric fiber collimator is available for design wavelengths from 400 nm to 1600 nm. Versions with FC/PC, FC/APC, and SMA905 connectors are offered. Customization is also available, including wavelength, connector type, housing dimensions, and output spot size. For specific customization requirements, please contact our technical support.
